i can't get over this whole "you will NEVER be on time" thing. it's pervading my very existence.

so i've done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at work today. it's kind of frightening. i feel so worthless. but it was all accounting nonsense, nothing i can handle. but speaking of accounting, martha did her magic and i get my check today! it's the most beautiful feeling ever.

i think i'm going to have to come back to this entry...my mind has just shut down.

okay let's try this again, shall we? so in an attepmt to be productive, i spoke with prof. gagne about the fall placement exam. he said it was a great idea and that he'd be in touch with me when he gets back from out of town in august. so MENC is going to help at the placement exam. so i emailed everyone i had emails for to ask for volunteers. i also think menc needs shirts (i know, you're saying "imani, you think EVERYTHING needs shirts") and if we got a new design for the ACSM shirts, maybe they'd sell for once. so i'm waiting for replies. then i emailed everyone in nessa's box to give them that info.

so the ONE thing i did for work today was go get paper from supplies. on my way out of the office with the hand truck, ben and jason were talking so i scooted through and kept going but ben came up behind me and said hi. blah blah blah we talked about doctor's things etc etc. then of course i got lost...

"so that's why you're frazzled! men! can't live with them, can't live without them!"

...but on the second try i got it all figured out and ended up casually flirting with the jamaican man that worked in supplies. he was just being a nice old guy. i can appreciate that.

so i only have an hour and a half left of work. i'm going to read my book in peace and quiet till close. then i'm gonna go spend my money!!! oh food, how i've missed you. :)
